The Yorkshire Dales is an incredibly beautiful part of the United Kingdom and it is a place where many people visit to enjoy walking across the National Park locations. It can be any area of harsh weather and weather that can change very quickly, so it is always best to pack a nice warm top like the Aran Sweaters from places like Shamrock Gift, even if it looks like it is set to be a nice sunny day.
There are plenty of different routes for you to explore across the National Parks region with around 2,628 kilometres of footpaths across the 2,179km squared of land. Not only is it a place of extraordinary beauty, there are around 24,000 people who live within the boundaries of the National Park. Nearly 4 million are thought to visit the Yorkshire Dales National Park each year.
There are three key peaks within the park and these are Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborugh and Whernside. A walking route is available that will take you to each one in a circular route that covers 24.5 miles and will take around 12 hours for you to complete. Along the way you may come across the species of moss that is not found anywhere else in the world, or some of the hundreds of nesting birds, numerous species of butterflies or even the long-eared brown bat.
