  • Planning – make a list of all the people that you need to buy gifts for and jot down anything that might come to mind. For example if your dad or uncle like to go out walking you might look at getting them some Aran Sweaters like the ones from, or if your brother likes motor racing you might look at getting him a track day experience.
  • Budget – set yourself a realistic budget to pay for your gifts. You might like to set an overall budget and then split this across all the gifts you need to buy. There will be some people on your list that you want to spend more money on than others.

  • Listening – this is a great way to get your loved ones presents that they will enjoy. Make a note of anything they say about particular interests that they have or items that they are looking to get in the future.

Now you have the list of people you are buying for, a budget in mind and some ideas as to the items that they might like you can start looking for them. This might be searching the internet and finding some great deals or you might prefer to pop out to the shops for the full Christmas shopping experience. Either way you are now ready to get shopping.
